Designated a Living Legend by the Library of Congress, Liebovitz’s career as a critically acclaimed photographer of individuals and artists in contemporary life and her novel approach to photojournalism revolutionized the realm of photography. By developing unique setups, lighting, and creating interviewing sessions with subjects to capture their essence Leibovitz’s work with actors, writers, public figures and stage and screen stars garnered her widespread acclaim within the U.S. and internationally.
With a master’s degree in art history and design and an equivalent degree in the field of psychology, presenter Tess Wright’s research has centered on artistic content as well as the artist’s life experiences. Her passion to explore and share with art-minded individuals the personal lives and relationships that influence the artist’s work has led her to develop a variety of lectures on women artists, artist couples, and women in Surrealism.
