Bike Rodeo hosted in San Luis Obispo

–Join the City of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department and Police Department on Saturday, Oct. 1, for the 2016 Bike Rodeo at Hawthorne Elementary School; 2125 Story Street. This free event, for children ages 4-13, includes a bicycle safety course, safety
skills ride, bike registration, BMX stunt show and raffle.

The Bike Rodeo “Safety Town” course begins at 11 a.m., followed by bike decorating and Safety Ride at 1 p.m. The BMX stunt show is scheduled from 2-3 p.m. Participants receive goody bags and a BBQ lunch. Bike tune-ups and helmet fittings will also be offered.
