Event will celebrate new 19,000 square-foot tasting room and production center

– Burbank Ranch Winery is hosting its grand opening during the weekend of July 10-12. The once downtown Paso Robles tasting room has moved to a newly built 19,000-square-foot processing, storage and tasting facility overlooking their 46 acres of vineyards.

The new facility is located at 5685 El Pomar Drive in Templeton. The celebration will include wine flights, wines by the glass, cheese and charcuterie plates, live music, local olive oil tastings, as well as the launch of their new lunch menu.

On Friday July 10 from 4-6 p.m. the Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero chambers of commerce will hold a formal ribbon cutting. Saturday, July 11 the winery is hosting local musical duo Starling and Wright.

The construction was completed in just under two years. The downstairs portion of the facility holds the winery production center, boasting three separate temperature controlled barrel cellars nestled underground for self-cooling. Upstairs the tasting room offers room for over 200 guests with their “fallen oak bar” that was moved from the original tasting room in downtown Paso Robles. The patio has seating for lunch guests and the Burbank Ranch staff offers table service for tastings.

The vineyards are SIP Certified, meaning their level of sustainability goes above and beyond what the industry norms currently are. Water conservation, as well as responsible pest and erosion control are factors in the certification.
