– The Cambria Tourism Board was honored with a Silver Telly Award at the 36th Annual Telly Awards for its “Outsiders Welcome” TV commercial. The Cambria Tourism Board was selected from the nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, winning a Silver Telly – which is the highest honor.

Cambria Tourism Board Marketing Chair Pragna Patel-Mueller said, “We’re thrilled to have been named as a Telly Award winner. The ‘Outsiders Welcome’ campaign was a great way to introduce visitors to all the various outdoor activities we have here in Cambria, and most importantly, to let each guest know they are welcome to our town.”

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and honors outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, and online commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments.

“It is our pleasure to present the Cambria Tourism Board with a Silver Telly award,” said Jessica Blanchfield, president of Archer & Hound Advertising – the advertising firm for the Cambria Tourism Board. “We are sincerely grateful the board allowed us the opportunity to create this award-winning piece. We know there are so many amazing stories to be told about Cambria. This ‘Outsiders Welcome’ spot offered just an introduction to outdoor activities and local hospitality.”

A judging panel of over 650  industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work. Entries do not compete against each other, rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit.
