Chicago coming to Vina Robles June 29

Band has been touring for 49 consecutive years

–Chicago will come to Paso Robles for a performance at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre on June 29. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.Chigago

2016 will mark the band’s 49th consecutive year of touring, without missing a single concert date. The line-up includes original band members Robert Lamm on keyboards, vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals, James Pankow on trombone and Walt Parazaider on woodwinds, as well as Jason Scheff on bass, vocals, Tris Imboden on drums, Keith Howland on guitar and vocals, Lou Pardini on keyboards, vocals and Walfredo Reyes, Jr. on percussion.

This year, Chicago will be inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Chicago came in at #9 on Billboard Magazine’s recent Hot 200 All-Time Top Artists, the highest charting American band. Their album Chicago Transit Authority was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2014, and the band performed on the Grammy stage for the first time that year. Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six decades.
