Chablis Cruises offers public cruises and hosts private charters for all occasions. Public cruises include their famous Brunch cruise the second Sunday of the month and Chowder Cruises every Saturday and Sunday. “You get to experience the beauty of Morro Bay from the water and enjoy fresh made from scratch food, and hand crafted drinks.” says owner Annie Clapp. Along with farm fresh and locally sourced food, the Chablis features a full bar with craft beer, local wine and mixed drinks. The signature Bloody Mary comes with an array of locally sourced and pickled vegetables.
Chablis cruises is a family business. Annie and her family operate the vessel, this includes captaining, catering, and service. The Chablis maintains a virtual office and calls are returned by Patti, aka Annie’s mom and partner. The behind the scenes booking and bean counting is done by Shasta aka Annie’s sister and third partner. Shasta and Patti are both retired military.
In 2007 Big Rock Charters LLC purchased the Chablis and sailed it from San Francisco to Morro Bay. She is a unique, 50-foot, two-story flat-bottom riverboat that sails guests along the calm waters of the harbor. A cruise on the Chablis is perfect for the whole family, a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of the area and create lasting memories.
The bottom level of the boat has a spacious dining room and the open air upper level has a viewing deck, perfect for sightseeing or an al fresco dining experience. Chablis Cruises aims to please.
