Lago Giuseppe Winery has it all, excellent wine, rave-review weekend lunches, lodging, events, a wedding, private event venue, amazing views of the natural oak-filled landscape, wildlife and the lake. Well known for their Italian varietals, which includes Sangiovese and Nebbiolo, the winery also offers their 2007, 2008, 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2014 Pinot Noir, 2013 Tre Donne, 2012 Libretto, and more. The wines can be paired with a brick oven fired pizza, house-made pasta, artisan bread, antipasti, choice seasonal dishes, and desserts, all prepared in the winery kitchen.
These wines are only a sampling of those offered by Lago Giuseppe Winery. Visitors to the tasting room are often surprised by pours of special wine offerings that are not always available to the public.
Walking through the front doors of the two-story, Mediterranean-style tasting room offers a view of the Lago, just a stone throw from the tasting room. The wines and food are as impressive as the property. Watching the visiting ducks, herons, turkeys and other wildlife is an experience by itself, only enhanced with the exceptional food and wine. Bald eagles will often show up just to be sure the experience is even more special.
Visit and stay awhile. Lago Giuseppe offers three choices for lodging for couples. Two of the suites have kitchens and one of those is pet-friendly. Guests staying at Lago Giuseppe are treated to relaxing walks around the 35-acre property, swimming, boating and fishing in the lake. On-site dining options are also available.
The private event venue accommodates small to large groups, from 25 to 400 people.
Not only do La Familia wine club members have access to very special Lago Giuseppe wines, but members are also treated to private wine tastings, private catered luncheons, and dinners.
