Dunning Estate Winery is a short and scenic 12 minute drive from downtown Paso Robles, to the West side, through beautiful wine country into the Willow District. The family-owned Estate Winery can be found at the end of a lovely drive through the country, keeping a low-profile and hiding some of the nicest wines to be found in Paso Robles. The winery is located on a sprawling 40 acres of paradise aching to be discovered and enjoyed.
Dunning Vineyards was established in 1991 and produces some of the best possible wines including Ridge Top Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Private Reserve Zinfandel, Estate Chardonnay, Vin De Casa, Pinot Noir, Meritage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, and Petite Sirah. Wines produced at Dunning are consistently awarded in the 90’s with Wine Enthusiast . Sipping and enjoying their wines in the serene and quiet environment will give visitors the full experience of what they stand for, and hope to get across as winemakers. The high-quality grapes are organically grown with the most care to the land, and micro-climates create delicious varietals.
Along with the French Oak barrel filled tasting room, the winery is home to a luxurious bed & breakfast, which serves as a romantic getaway. Imagine waking up from a restful, private evening in one of their one bedroom villas to a breathtaking sunrise and breakfast on your own private patio. The luxury spa tub will rejuvenate your body, and bring total relaxation in a stress-free environment created for seclusion. Not only can they create a good variety of wines, but this retreat gives everyone what they want most. Private Vip wine tasting of the wines is included with your stay, a California King bed, a/c & heating, private patio terrace, luxury marble bath & shower, flat screen t.v. with satellite, wifi, full kitchenette, and a fridge stocked with snacks and breakfast.
If you are curious to learn more, the owners who live on site will give you an agricultural tour of the property, by appointment, and show you what they are working on depending on the season they are in. Owners Bob and Jo-ann Dunning welcome visitors to enjoy learning and tasting, Monday through Thursday by appointment, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Members of their wine club save 15%-20% off each order, and spaces are limited.
