Welcome to the beautiful Central Coast. Thank you for reading this copy of the San Luis Obispo County Visitor’s Guide and discovering so many of the unique, interesting and enjoyable places to see and things to do. The choices are wide open for exploring, enjoying great food, award win- ning wines and adventure.
Spring is here! Businesses are open. There are hotels, motels, vacation rentals and other lodging for every budget and family. Outdoor activities are plentiful. Visitors and locals alike are shopping, din- ing, wine tasting, hiking, cycling, exploring the beaches, tidepools and marine life and the many historical landmarks that fill our streets and back roads.
On these pages you can learn what’s new at some of your favorite places and be among the first to visit some of the newest things to do and see! Speaking of new, be sure to drop in to the Cane Tiki Room in downtown Paso Robles. Featured in this
issue, the recently
opened Polynesian
inspired lounge
features exotic
tropical cocktails and
small bites. It’s the
perfect spot for lunch,
recharging after a day of shopping and sightseeing, relaxing before dinner or some after dinner cocktails.
The next several months have some of the most beautiful weather on the Central Coast. Crisp sunny mornings drift into warm, energizing afternoons— perfect for enjoying your favorite Central Coast activities. And, if you run out of time, remember that you are always welcome back to do and see more!
On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to ex- tend a warm welcome. We hope you enjoy your stay.
Publishers Scott and Beth Brennan and their family welcome you to San Luis Obispo County
