Arroyo Grande
Klondike Pizza – Out of Alaska and out of the ordinary
Adventures in food, fun, and tall tales
Alaska has magnificent glaciers, the highest mountain in the U.S., over 12,000 rivers, 3 million lakes greater than 5 acres, and massive open spaces for its diverse wildlife. But does it have the best pizza? For that, you’ll have to go to Klondike Pizza in the quaint Ar- royo Grande Village.
Peanuts and tall tales
From the peanut shells scattered on the floor, Alaskan artifacts, and Mickey the Moose—to the framed goofy tall tales on the entrance
wall about the origins of Klondike Pizza—every view is reminiscent of Alaska. Drop a buck in the player piano and watch the symbols, banjo, and drums in action. Buy a bag of peanuts and toss your shells on the floor while you wait for your meal.
Delicious food, delightful fun
Award-winning pizzas are made from scratch with your choice of red or garlic sauce. Specialties in- clude “The Roadkill” with Alaskan reindeer sausage. They also offer a gluten-free pizza, and Vegan op- tions. The menu includes burgers,

grilled chicken sandwiches, baked sandwiches, and salads — includ- ing their signature Klondike Salad with mandarin oranges, almonds, and Klondike’s secret sweet ‘n sour dressing.
There’s a huge patio to enjoy our beautiful central coast weather. Monday nights are “Unplugged Nights.” Bring in your family and choose from an array of board games. Many folks have made it their Monday night tradition.

The Klondike has been serving Good Times 'n Good Grub since 1988. The original owners, Mike and Pam, still run the restaurants with the help of their amazing crews and managers. These days, Pam writes “The Murder Blog Mys- teries” series. Its locale is the central coast, and for some strange reason, her protagonist’s favorite pizza is Klondike Pizza. Go figure.
Klondike Pizza is located at 104 Bridge Street in Arroyo Grande, (805) 481-5288 and 2059 S. Broad- way in Santa Maria, (805) 348- 3667.
