Splash Café keeps ‘em coming back
Iconic eatery serves up Award- Winning Clam Chowder
The famous Splash Café is
one of the longest-standing restaurants on the Central Coast, first opening its doors in 1989, just steps from the Pismo Beach Pier. Since 1991, Splash has been run by Joanne and Ross Currie, who turned it into a certified local landmark.
As one of the busiest restaurants on the Central Coast, Splash serves over 40,000 gallons of Clam Chow- der every year, more than other seafood restaurants serve in their lifetime! No trip to Pismo Beach is complete without a stop at Splash
Café for a taste of their legendary Clam Chowder, a consistent winner at the annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival.
Until November 2023, Splash was serving breakfast and lunch at a second location in San Luis Obispo. After 18 years, the Curries closed
that location to focus on the bakery and growing nationwide sales of their clam chowder, a trio of spice rubs, and Carrot Pepper Hot Sauce.
No trip to Pismo Beach is complete without a stop at Splash Café.
