Welcome to
San Luis
Obispo
County
Welcome to the beautiful Central
Coast and the cooling fall weather.
Thank you for picking up this copy of the
San Luis Obispo County Visitor’s Guide!
Any time is the perfect time to visit
the Central Coast because each season
brings new adventures. Fall, with its
cooler weather is an especially busy time
for popular outdoor activities and local
festivals that showcase the talents of art-
ists, artisans, chefs, winemakers, and the
bounty of local farms and vineyards.
Harvest time is celebrated all over
the county, especially in the local wine
country. Local wineries take advantage
of harvest time to share their bounty
with harvest festivals, and winemaker
dinners, and pour their favorite award-
winning wines in their tasting rooms.
Jada Vineyard and Winery is one of
those local sustainable, small-lot winer-
ies that has a lot to be proud of.
The winery has been farming organi-
cally since 2014 and in 2022 the Jada
vineyards were officially certified by the
California Certified Organic Farmers
(CCOF). In addition, the winery and
tasting room were
certified sustainable
by the California
Sustainable Wine-
growing Alliance
(CSWA). Don’t miss the opportunity to drop by
Jada and experience memorable wine tasting in a
unique nature-centric environment.
For the third consecutive year, a Jada wine
was selected for Jeb Dunnuck’s Top 100 annual
list. In addition, Jada has continually garnered
90+ point scores from Wine Advocate, Wine
Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast for almost two
decades.
This magazine is packed with information
about SLO County wineries, restaurants, bou-
tiques, museums, hiking, beaches and outdoor
adventures, plus places to stay. Each page opens
to rich choices of things to do and see that are
suited for the whole family.
On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to
extend a warm welcome. We hope you enjoy
your stay!
