Where breakfast is champion
There are 26 omelets on the
menu along with the build-your-own
option. There are also pancakes, local
sausage, bacon, oatmeal, breakfast
burritos, huevos rancheros, and
waffles. Louisa’s is famous for their
bacon Belgian waffles, with generous
chunks of actual, house-cooked
bacon folded into the batter.
After breakfast there’s lunch
What’s lunch without an exquisite
hamburger? Louisa’s menu offers all
of the classic burger choices plus the
breakfast burger with a 1/3-pound
sirloin patty, American cheese,
bacon, tater tots, and a fried egg on a
sesame seed bun, with lettuce, toma-
toes, and pickles on the side.
Not in the mood for a burger,
grilled, or club sandwich? Choose a
vegan option or order a salad, soup,
or chili dish.
Kids and dessert
The kid’s menus for 12 years
and under offer breakfast and lunch
choices for every appetite.
Everyone, including kids, who
are up for dessert can select a dessert
from the board menu at the front of
the restaurant.
No fads, just good, home-style
cooking
Judging by the line out the door
and the packed seating on any given
weekend, Louisa’s is clearly the place
for most people. Dine in or call
ahead for takeout. Private parties and
catering are available, including for
breakfast!
Breakfast and lunch are served
daily from 6 a.m.-3 p.m.
Louisa’s Place is located at 964
Higuera St. in downtown SLO. To see
