Owner George Dodge, a dedi-
cated golfer for over 50 years, opened
Golf and More in 2010. After a
distinguished 23-year military career
and over two decades as an assistant
superintendent for finance in Paso
Robles, Dodge retired and started The
Link, a local nonprofit organization.
His passion for golf inspired him to
turn his longtime hobby into a local
business for all golfers to enjoy.
“I retired but, needed something
to do and had always enjoyed golf
and worked on clubs, even making
them, as a hobby,” Dodge said. “I felt I
needed more knowledge, so I went to
a school on golf club repair in Texas.
Then I found a location near Chalk
Mountain Golf Course where I have
been for 15 years.”
Dodge’s shop features an impres-
sive selection of new and used golfing
supplies, including brands such as
Callaway and Taylormade. Popular
clubs include wedges, fairway woods,
drivers, and putters, along with cloth-
ing and accessories for children to
adults.
The support services, such as
changing club lengths, regripping,
and general repairs, are another
standout feature. “We repair and
regrip clubs usually within the same

day. We always have a large stock of
clubs, golf balls, wedges, putters, and
accessories. We also have a large stock
of disc golf,” Dodge said.
Another unique feature of Golf
and More is the indoor hitting bay for
customers to test clubs, and measure
their swing speed and ball speed to
determine the best type of shaft they
need.
Golf and More carries an ex-
tensive variety of used youth sports
supplies for basketball, soccer, and
football. For those on their way to
Lake Nacimiento, Golf and More
carries high-quality water skiing and
fishing tools.
