Performance is part of An Evening of Music & Wine
– The California Mid-State Fair has announced that Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons have been confirmed to perform in concert on Friday, July 28 at 7 p.m. The show is the fair’s annual “Evening of Music & Wine” concert, which will take place in the Main Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center.
Tickets are $26, $36, $46 and $448 for a table of eight (waiting list only) and will go on sale Friday, March 10, 2017. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.MidStateFair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, and at 1 p.m. at the California Mid-State Fair box office (2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles) or any ValliTix location.
Frankie Valli, who came to fame in 1962 as the lead singer of the Four Seasons, is hotter than ever in the 21st century. Thanks to the volcanic success of the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys, which chronicles the life and times of Frankie and his legendary group, such classic songs as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Rag Doll,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” are all the rage all over again. As the play enters its third sold-out year on Broadway, and two touring companies of Jersey Boys travel around the U.S., the real Frankie Valli is packing concert halls coast to coast, from the Rose Theater, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, to L.A.’s Kodak Theater, home of the Academy Awards.
The 2017 California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 through July 30. This year’s theme is “Come One, Come All…”
