Concert will benefit local youth
–The Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa will host LeAnn Rimes for their annual benefit concert on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo.
Rimes has sold over 44 million albums, won two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards, and 12 Billboard Music Awards. She is also the youngest recipient of a Grammy Award. She has 42 singles that have made the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, 13 of which made the top 10. Her single, “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” went #1 in 11 countries. Rimes is also an actor and author. She has written two children’s books, the novel Holiday in your Heart, and the inspirational book What I Cannot Change.

The proceeds will benefit local nonprofit organizations that benefit the youth of the San Luis Obispo community. To date, Rotary de Tolosa has given more than a quarter of a million dollars from their annual fundraiser to support local charities.
