– Villa Creek Restaurant has hired Chef Tim Veatch to take on the role of Executive Chef as the restaurant approaches two decades of business in Paso Robles wine country.
Veatch’s resume includes farm to table cooking at Farmshop in Marin, cooking on coals at Camino in Oakland, and wearing many hats from pastry cook to front line at the three Michelin star Saison in San Francisco. Throughout Veatch’s extensive career he has curated strong relationships with purveyors up and down California thus affording him the pick of the crop or pasture every single day of the year. His creativity with seasonally available foods will be the focus of the menu, and will influence the inventive cocktail selections at the restaurant.
“We are incredibly spoiled here on the Central Coast and throughout the state to have access to some of the most mindfully grown foods at our fingertips,” said Villa Creek Restaurant’s owner/founder Cris Cherry. “This was one reason we opened in 1998, and now we are excited for Chef Tim to continue our mission with his own bravado.”
“It is an honor and our pleasure to continue to serve up exceptional dishes and cocktails to those who not only visit Paso Robles but those who live here and make this community so awesome,” shares Villa Creek Restaurant’s owner/founder JoAnn Cherry. “We are beyond thankful to this community for embracing us all these years, and we cannot wait to see what the next 20 years brings to our restaurant and to the community.”
Villa Creek Restaurant welcomes guests Tuesday through Saturday to grab a classic margarita with fresh squeezed lime juice or a locally made Kro-Bar bourbon Manhattan on the park-front bar. Then dine-in and enjoy Chef Tim’s seasonally-based menu.
