Hand-blended teas, spices, plant-based sandwiches, salads, and more.
—Spice of Life is a unique shop located in downtown Paso Robles just a couple of blocks from the city park. Lori Foster, the store’s owner, grew up in a culture and environment where food, flavors, and cooking brought family together. Sharing lives around the dinner table and building relationships runs deep in her veins. The business reflects the memories and passion, through creating spice blends and sharing stories with customers. Her devotion to finding the perfect product mix can be seen when exploring the diverse collection of items on the shelves.
“My love of plants and embracing the wonderful world of plant medicine is a deep passion of mine. It reflects my devotion to my past, my intentions in the present, and my excitement for the future. Each of my tea blends is made with specific benefits in mind, helping with sleep, digestion, anxiety, respiratory support, immune boost, nourishing the body, and more. One of my more popular tea blends is called ‘Love your Liver’ which supports the liver and helps cleanse the blood, in turn, helping your body work more efficiently. ‘Tranquility tea’ is another blend that my customers return for over and over. The delicate dance of bringing plants and people together and creating blends that my customers will enjoy and benefit from is my mission and passion for Spice of Life,” said Lori Foster.
Spice of Life loves the community and the many passionate people creating amazing products in the area. On the shelves, you will find a wide variety of local products as well as ingredients and items from around the world. The Groves on 41 olive oil, Sierra Honey, Chaparral Gardens vinegar, Mighty Cap mushrooms, and Cooks Flavorings are just a few of the delicious local products offered. The shop is continuously growing and bringing in new and exciting products to inspire people in the kitchen.
