Annual event features live music, family-friendly activities and fireworks
– Tickets are now on sale for Paso Pops, the annual Paderewski Festival-sponsored patriotic concert and Independence Day celebration scheduled for Wednesday, July 4 at the Paso Robles Event Center. Tickets are $20 for general admission with special military, senior, student and child discounts with ID. Reserved tables for 10 persons are $3,500 and $1,000 and offer premium seating, VIP parking and wine tasting. Purchase tickets and make plans to spend July 4 in Paso Robles.
The San Luis Obispo Symphony, paired with Youth Symphony members under the new director Andrew Sewell will perform a patriotic “Pops” program beginning at 8 p.m. with a fireworks finale all emceed by Casey Biggs, Paso’s Wineman. Festivities begin with gates opening at 4 p.m. Young families will enjoy interactive arts, games, painting activities and new kiddie rides.
“We hope families will plan to make Paso Pops a cornerstone of their Independence Day celebrations to honor our great nation,” said event founder Steve Cass.
Food trucks and food vendors will be on site to purchase culinary fare. Event attendees may bring their picnics. Attendees at a reserved table are invited to decorate their tables for judging and prizes. Cass Winery wines and Firestone Walker Brewing Company will be available for purchase.
