Take a break from the heat and
wander through the buildings filled
with photographs, quilts, flowers,
and more.
Enjoy classic fair food such as
crispy corn dogs, sugary cinnamon
rolls, and famous barbeque. New
food vendors to try include Aaron’s
Chicken Shack, the Original Brat-
wurst, Rhino’s Glazed Almonds,
the Philly Express, and Deep-Fried
Cheese Curds.
Souvenirs can be picked up
from the Mission Market Place,
which is a “local general store at the
Fair, with the Fair featuring several
local artisans, growers, and produc-
ers to showcase their locally grown
or hand-crafted items to over
300,000 fairgoers,” according to the
website. Hats, picture frames, cloth-
ing, and more can be purchased.
Enjoy the fun-filled days at
the California Mid-State Fair with
